Atlantic Program (AIPP)

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot was created to meet the region's labour market challenges.

Employers in Nova Scotia can use Piloto to hire foreign workers without the need for the LMIA.
⠀
The Nova Scotia Office of Immigration and Population Growth (NSIPG) has reported that it will accept Atlantic Immigration Pilot designation applications through June 30, 2021.

After that date, on January 1, 2022, the Atlantic Program (AIPP) will be permanent. The new PERMANENT economic immigration category will be called: Atlantic Immigration Class - Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).
