Caregiver in Canada in 2022

Government has confirmed the opening of 5,500 applications for the year 2022:

2,750 applications for Home Child Care Provider Pilot
2,750 applications for Home Support Worker Pilot

Applications for the pilot programs will resume on January 1, 2022, at 12 noon (ET).

Requirements:
- CLB 5
- 1 year of post secondary education
- Job offer in Canada as a nanny
- Proof of ability to perform the job (proof of relevant previous work experience (paid or unpaid), e.g.: employer reference letters, employment records, employment contracts, pay stubs, etc.

Process:
1. Application for PR from outside Canada
2. Receipt of work authorization to come to Canada
3. Work for 2 years
4. PR
