IRCC Announces Application Cap for the Agri-Food Pilot Program

Due to high demand, interest in the program exceeds the number of spots available in the 2025–2027 Immigration Levels Plan. For this reason, IRCC has set a cap of 1,010 permanent residence applications through the program. Applications can be submitted until the closing date, May 14, 2025, or until the cap of 1,010 applications is reached, whichever comes first.

The Agri-Food Pilot is an economic program created under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. According to regulations, the program has a maximum operating period of five years, which will be reached on May 14, 2025. After this date, the pilot cannot be extended.
