PGWP temporary public policy has been extended until August 2022

The Canadian government extended - last Friday - the temporary public policy that grants the PGWP (Post Graduation Work Permit) to international students who start their online course abroad!

This measure was in effect and would end on December 31, 2021.

This means that studies in eligible courses for the PGWP carried out online in Brazil also count as time for the work visa.

Know the rules:

⏩ You must be enrolled in a program of study in Canada that qualifies you for the PGWP

⏩ Meet all PGWP eligibility criteria

⏩ Have started or will start their studies in any semester between March 2020 and August 2022.

⏩ Have an approved study visa or are awaiting the processing of your visa or study permit and possibly be approved in the future
